Pre calculated steel beams are inserted in and carefully under pinned with engineering bricks. It is essential that this is done correctly to stop any movement from the floors above

The first picture shown here shows how careful planning has to be made.
The windows have to be taking into consideration. Demolishing too much wall at once could destabilize the whole building.

This old fireplace had to be taking out, but it was not as simple as that. It went straight through the bathroom and on top that, the local authority wanted the top stack showing though the roof for in was a conservation area.
Structural beams had to be installed in the attic to support the top section .

Once the structural work has been completed, the rest of the project can now be made ready for the building of the conservatory and utility room.

Note how we have used reclaimed bricks from the demolished walls to blend the new building work into the house

Finally the timber conservatory is built on site and fitted with toughened low E double glazed units. All the electrics/plumbing are installed including new combi-boiler, washing /dryer machines etc in utility.

A new bespoke kitchen is installed with granite tops and solid oak flooring laid. A new bathroom is installed where the old chimney came out, then finally every where is decorated and tiled to clients requirements.

To finish the look, natural stone is laid on the patio and new lawn laid, and we leave a highly delighted client.
